Today, during the first two periods, majority of the 6A was in the canteen, helping out 6H's oral. i had a huge challenge. "This is a challenge for you," Miss Chia told me, as she sent Addison to me. I gulped in a mouthful of air, as I saw him heading towards me. Don't get me wrong, I am not scared of him! I knew that Addison is totally not interested in this session, as he dragged his feet towards my table. He sat opposite to me. All he had as resources was about 6 pieces of crumpled and torn papers. I was really really looking forward to this session. Looking at Addison, I felt totally discouraged.I scrutinized Addison. Bruises everywhere. Yet, he doesn't know what bruises is! Really! We started with reading first. First thing, it was very monotonous! I never heard such reading (okay, may be in my MT school)! Then he could not know words like, appliances, determination, leading, Esplanade, praise bruise, ravenously, avid, etc etc., let alone pronouncing it. There is alot more about this Addison. But I will keep it for some other time. Tomorrow is Mother Tongue Prelim. Mum is nagging (as usual) to do last minute revision. Signing off from homeat 31.7.08, 6.57 p.m.
