Hey Friends/Amigos, here I am, after around 2 months, blogging. I am starting to treasure every moment in CKPS. Laugh at funny &silly incidents. Get angry at myself for being stupid/immature.Well, let's start shall we?!Hmmm... Let's discuss about the main reason why I had stopped blogging. PSLE.~ENGLISH**LCI took the exam along with my Mother Tongue LC at Tiong Bahru Examination Hall. Quite easy. Aiming for 20, or the usual 19. Not lesser than that!**ORALI think I have gone through that earlier. Well, target is 27-30.**PAPER 1(COMPOSITION &SITUATIONAL WRITING)For compo, I used the secret passage(very first compo of 2008) plot. Drugs. Because of which I am aiming for 33-37. Why isn't the maximum 40? Let's face the fact, neither am I perfect nor have I ever scored 38-40. It is better if we target what we know we can achieve, lest to fall from the sky (Hindi idiom: आकाश से गिरना) &hurt ourselves mentally (physically?).For Situational Writing, my sixth sense is telling me no full marks this time. Aiming for 13-15. This time the maximum is full marks as I had gotten full marks in Situational Writing before. In fact, for the whole of 2008 CAs &SAs, I have been getting full marks. Anyway, its just sixth sense, not God, not the markers.**PAPER 2VERY VERY EASY!!! Gosh! That was damn easy! I took 45 minutes to finish Paper2! And I checked the paper thoroughly more than 3 times!! Thanks to my short term memory loss, I don't remember exactly how many times I had checked the paper. OE Comprehension was easy to understand &answer. Aiming for 80-93. But is it a good news or bad? Are you shocked? Good news because there is a high chance that I score near full marks kind of marks. But don't forget, it's near full marks, not full marks. If I felt that this paper is easy, then even the high scorers like Farah, Adorabelle &even the Gifted students must have felt the same. So they will score Full Marks! Die Die Liao!!!!
~MATHEMATICSOkay-Okay. A little easy. Aiming for 83-95. During the exam, I went a little berserk. For the easy questions, I was getting stuck! My brain simply refused to obey my mathematical commands! I could not calculate! But that would last for a minute or so. But that every single minute counts! Lucky for me, I had enough time to check the paper once.~MOTHER TONGUE**LCOkay. Easy. Good. Aiming for a usual 20.**ORALI guess I have posted about that previously. Hence, I won't talk much. It went smooth. I didn't pause to "look for correct vocabulary". So that will secure me 3 marks, I guess. And my alphabetical pronunciation was perfect, most likely. So that will be another 5 marks, I guess. So total for oral will be about 57/60? I guess.**PAPER 1(COMPOSITION)Hmmm... Before the exam I read a touching story about...Never mind! I am too lazy to type! Simply go to http://sixsix08.blogspot.com &look for the post on a sister &mother's death. That is the structure of my plot. Added emotions. Well, the reason why I used that plot is easy, I addaed a double climax story structure-something taught by MC, but not by my M.T. Teachers. So, I "recked" my brain and figured there would probably be only 2 markers as there aren't much students. Also, MOE won't allow teachers from my school to mark our school's pupil's papers. Hence, the papers will be exchanged with the other school teaching the same language, which has 2 teachers only. Thus, of all compositions, if they see one &only one with 2 climaxes, won't they award me with more marks for creativity?! Ahhhh, smart move. So my target is 33-37.**PAPER 2As you people know, since CA1, my marks have been improving by 10marks. The last time it was 82. So based on that, I predict a 92. But, the paper was very easy. So you might want to add an extra 3 marks or so. Not bad, eh?!~SCIENCEAhhh, the dreaded subject... So far, this year, my results aren't that good. Previously it would be between 70s &80s. Now, it is between 60s &70s. Well, right on time, I managed to solve the unsolved mystery of why my standard had gone down. Or so. Well you see, I would draw concept maps, notes etc etc in my Biology book. But this year I didn't!! How could I had not done that! Arrrhhhh! So recently, just about a week before PSLE Science, I had been doing lots of them. So is my conclusion correct? If yes, that should secure another 10 marks.******************SO THAT'S MY REVIEW ON PSLE AS A WHOLE :D********************P.S. Most of you people should know by now that I am a MAJOR SHAHRUKH KHAN FAN.So, I spent the whole of the morning &afternoon wactching his movies. Apparently, one of the movies, Om Shanti Om/OSO, had 3 phrases/quotes that I thought were meaningful for us.1st: If you really want something from your heart, then the whole universe will make an effort to make you achieve it. अगर दिल से कुछ पाना कहते हो, तो साडी कायनात तुमसे उसे
मिलाने की कोशिश में लग जाता है। (Agar dil se kuch pana chate ho, to saari kayanath tumse use milane ki koshish mein lag jata hai. )2nd: If you find hard, you will find even God. You definitely did not find hard. धुन्दने से तो
भगवन भी मिल जाता अगर। तुमने ज़रूर दिल से नही ढूंडा। (Dhundne se to bhagvan bhi mil jata hai. Tumne zaroor dil se nahi dhunda.)3rd: If the end is not well, it is not the end। The film is still not finished! अगर अंत भला नही
होता है, तो वो अंत नही है। पिक्चुरे अभी भी बाकि है, मेरे दोस्त! (Agar ant bhala nahi hota hai, to vo ant nahi hai. Picture abhi bhi baki hai!)Anyways, if you think the dialouge is good, then just to tell you that OSO wasn't the best movie of the year. It was the second best movie, first being another ShahRukh Khan movie, Chak De India!. I suggest Singaporeans/non-Indians don't watch it as it is a patriotic movie.
