Hey y'all...
I'm sick. Again. I don't know why but ever since I'm in Dunman, I get sick too often. I mean, it was just about less than a month ago when I got bronchitis. An now it's this darn thing. Fever. Headaches. Cough. Ahem Ahem? No, it's the horrible kinda cough. Like I cough every moment. Like now, I am coughing my head off. My lazy mum cant have her afternoon naps 'cos of my relentless coughs. Well, look on the bright side. At least she wont grow lazier &fatter by not sleeping. Since I've got nothing much to do, I just lay on my bed, with my quilt(yes, it's Antarctica for me) &read, read &read. I mean, since yesterday afternoon, I finished reading a Eleanor Of Aquitaine's biography(1136), Catherine II The Great Of The Imperial Russia's biography(1743), Lady Of Palenque Of Mesoamerica's biography(AD 749) and finally the Good Earth by Jonathan Chung of 1B'09! Lol, jk jk.
Yes, the Good Earth book I read is the same Good Earth we're doing for literature. Except that the one I just read is the original version and not the abridged one we use at school. I gotta admit it, that book is SICK! Pearl S. Buck(the original author-not Jonathan Chung. I said he was the author 'cos of randomness-) is a sick person. It's a good thing that we're not using the original book for Lit. Or the Miss Nita &Ms Tan would die of repeating overly mind corrupting stuff. I mean, in the very first lesson of Literature, Ms Tan explained to us that the one we are using now is abridged. As in, the original book made simpler. You can say it's like digestion or even decomposition. As long as you get it, can already.
Ms Tan also said that the original book is like a few hundred pages. Hmmm.... mines is exactly 260 pages long. May be it is a teeny weeny bit abridged? May be not. She said that there are chances that we use the original Good Earth book for Literature in our University lives. No wonder, by then we would (or rather should) be mature enough to read the porno contents. Ms Tan added that the abridged book is like a summary of the original book. She said that the original book has more descriptions &vague clear descriptions about every incident. After reading the original one, I'm like: it's way too descriptive. As in they clearly explain the process(I don't wanna name it, I'm decent:yeah right) by which everyone is born. Mummy-Daddy stuff, we shouldn't interfere. And the O-lan's pearls part, they explain how Wang Lung found it. Well, O-lan hid it in her b***s &Wang Lung touched it & felt something hard in it. He then took that thing out of it. And those were the jewels O-lan had stolen from the Great House in the South. When O-lan got her pearls, she kept them back in her....I'm gonna faint!!!&when Wang Lung asked for those pearls to give to Lotus, O-lan took them out of her....WHATEVER!
Well, the biographies were quit nice. I loved them all except for Lady Palenque's biography. She ruled a tribal clan somewhere near Mexico. And, boy, did they have freakishly long names! Trying to remember them was like fruitless. I got quite bored of it. I ended up skipping lots of pages. Sekaili jump from the beginning all the way towards the ending. Seriously, all the long names made me lose my interest. That's why I have yet to read the biography of Anacaona of Haiti(1490), somewhere in the huge continent of Africa. I just read the beginning of the book &it was flooded with long names. I don't fill like reading the rest.
To Zakirah:
Hi! Don't say that this sickness was something of the one during CMT. You know what I'm talking about. But because I have allergy for damn cold air cons (NSW @AVT), I got sick. Ok? Don't scold me when I get back at school :DD And tell me if that I hat Zakirah chap bothers you ever again. I'll tell you a way in which that chap will never ever be able to tag at your cbox again. Then that thing will be unable to tell you any crap. Happy bottling up negative feelings and blowing up to that thing. I know, I get tons of violent thoughts. You don't need to tell me that. I think I can also find out who it is. May be larh. Depends.
